Procrastination and Organization Methods

My current organization method is simply going home and checking through all my folders to see if I have anything to study or homework assignments that may be due. I also have my Yahoo and Google email set up on my phone for reminders and important events. In my opinion I feel my organizational methods work because i'm not able to miss any assignments with going through my backpack everyday, and my emails always keep me alert and constantly checking for any events.
Procrastination can hurt you in the sense that you cannot really put too much thought in the assignment because of the last minute preparation. Procrastination doesn't allow you to expand you thoughts and knowledge due to the limited time. I can fight procrastination by having goals, standards, expectations, and most key organization to get things planned out in the future.

  1. All that organization seems like it's more work than it's worth. When I get home I have important things in my mind that have to be finished that day. But all the precautionary methods seem more of a pain and time waster than anything.

  2. I see what you mean and your method does sound like a good things to do and my method is somewhat like that. But keep your method up and stay on tasked with everything you have to do.

  3. I think that having Google give you reminders is a good idea. I will usually forget when things are do, so I should probably do that too.
