My favorite part of the movie was the part where Liz decided to go back to school and actually devote her time to education. The moment Liz Murray chose to continue school changed her life forever. She overcame all the diversity she faced and didn't let it hold her back. I know that I am as resilient as she is because I had similar experience in my early childhood. Growing up my mother was a drug addict and always making bad decisions. Many times I witnessed things displayed in the movie. So I chose to move on from the past because that makes me the man I am today, and I plan on being successful in life and proving my stereotype wrong just like Liz Murray did!

  1. That was probably my favorite part too. It's good that you didn't let your past effect you badly.

  3. I do hope you can prove your "stereotype" wrong. I love when people can do that.
